Holy Shit.

Martin Scorsese?

Martin Scorsese?

Holy shit. I don't have much else to say. This is a stunning twist, and I can't wait to see how they'll handle the production and Vince's hopes of an Oscar.

AMAZING! I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN LIKE CRAZY! I was expecting Gus to stop production on his film somehow and then offer him the lead in that. But, OMG! I can't freaking wait!!!!!! And to top it off, its "The Great Gatsby", love that book! Someone should definitely re-do that movie. Amazing episode. Best EVER. PERIOD.

Anyone else wish E didn't go back to Vince at the end? Wouldn't it be great to see what it would be like for Vince to survive a year (season 6, which HBO confirmed is back in production for summer 2009) with without his long suffering personal manager? Even Adrian Grenier and Kevin Connolly couldn't play the make-up scene with conviction. Maybe this was originally written as a 2-3 storyline arc before the strike. It would have rang more true if they didn't have such a nasty row and make up like 5 minutes later. Vince was just plain mean. This is the guy we are supposed to care enough about to follow. Not sure if I care too much anymore. I was starting to like the guy up until last week, but now I'm unclear why E sticks around.

How can you not like Eric? He's the guy who looks out for Vince's best interest at all times. He's the best friend. Vince did rip him but its hard to break up a friendship thats lasted over 25 years with one argument. And Vince clearly regretted the way it came out, because that's why he called so many times. I'm still amazed by this, and now I have to wait until the summer to find out who else is cast in this movie. How will Turtle/Jaime end up? Drama's new investment? Charlie's pilot? And most importantly how will The Great Gatsby turn out? I really want to see Doug Ellin write the boys at an award show, it'll make my life!

YES the best part about this was I was at the filming of this episode. Loved every minute of it and it means they're going to do more filming here in New York. Simply amazing.

honestly the whole scorsese coming out of nowhere on the phone.... um... yeah that was unexpected... like reallly REALLY unexpected.... it took a few minutes to sink in... i just couldn't believe my eyes...not to mention vince getting the lead in a martin scorsese movie...

i'm just confused as to whether or not Vincent Chase is really a "good" actor or not?... what do they want us as the viewers to think of him as an actor?...
'I'm not even gonna say i'm looking forward to next season even though i REALLY AM... just because i know its gonna be awhile until a trailer even hits the internet....sooo..goodbye for now dudes.... oh and thanks for making this blog... great job... i'll be back.

we should start getting 'leaks' from the set in feb 09, so, with the holidays to keep us busy, it won't be the same dry spell we had last year....
