Mark Wahlberg Promotes Entourage
While promoting his newest film The Happening (which doesn't look good, unfortunately), Mark Wahlberg spoke to E! about his involvement in the fifth season of Entourage. "I'm involved, I did a cameo. I watched the first episode and, you know, these guys are so on top of it. Completely. It's outstanding. I mean, you have Jeremy Piven, Doug Ellin and so much more right with this show. Ultimately, I'm a fan. I'm still that guy who tunes in every Sunday."
Mark didn't have that much time to visit the set this season - which is due to his time filming Max Payne for Fox. Speaking of Fox, Tom Rothman, the universally hated studio mogul, will also make a cameo this season.

Does Mark really do anything on this show. Like honestly, does he even help with any of the production. I keep thinking back to that episode of Entourage when E doesnt want to be part of the new movie Vince is doing, and Ari tells him he will still get payed for being a producer even if he doesnt work on it. I think thats how it went, but seriously, is Mark just being used to see this show more. Not that it needs it because the show is excellent anyway.
Mark was heavily involved with the show in the first and second season, but the third season is really when Mark's career started to sky rocket into a house hold name. He had minimal involvement with the fourth season as well -- only receiving each episode's screenplay. From what I've been told, he's much more involved in this season.
From what I'm told.
