Before I had embarked on creating this blog, I remember asking a question on a forum. A week went by. Another week. Soon, a month. It’s when I realized that the Entourage community really isn’t a community. I had to wait another month and a half to actually see my question answered. Even then, it was plush full with unintelligent responses and even worse knowledge on what I was asking.
It’s when I realized that I had to create a blog. A blog to somewhat fill the void that was missing. I’m not representing the community of Entourage -- nor am I claiming to. But I loved the idea of having a blog about this truly brilliant show, and maybe, just maybe, if enough fans visited that blog and left with the satisfaction of having their one question answered, then it was all worth it.
And it has been. You may have noticed recently that I’ve added a Sitemeter counter. Don’t worry, I’m only trying to keep track of how people seem to land on this blog, however small we are. So far? Most of it has been through Google, and many of hits have stemmed from our name solely.
Which is why I wanted to create a mailbag. To answer a question someone didn’t want to wait a month to have answered. Every week on Thursday, after hopefully receiving a dozen questions or so, I’ll answer each and every one to the best of my ability and knowledge. I will find that answer for you. Casting question? Song question? Yes, they will be answered. But I don't want anyone under the impression that I will be giving away spoilers -- because that isn't what the mailbag is for. It's for questions about the show, not spoilers, and hopefully I'll be able to answer them.
Click here to start sending questions to the bag.

Season Four DVD Cover Released!
It's the moment we've all be waiting for. Amazon now has our first look at the DVD cover for the fourth season. You may also pre-order the DVD from Amazon as well by clicking here. I've already ordered mine.
UPDATE: Here's a better look at the DVD cover from a different angle.
What do you think of the new DVD cover? Send your thoughts to our official e-mail and I'll host them on the site.
Rob Thinks: To be honest, the cover is pretty plain. I'm not expecting a bunch of images and what not, but I was looking forward to something that represented Entourage a little more.

Phil Mickelson In Entourage
According to Phil Mickelson, a pro-golfer, he shot a cameo for the fifth season of Entourage. Now Phil wouldn't open up about what episode he would appear in, but do not fear, Phil, I have that covered. He will make his appearance in the seventh episode - "Gotta Look Up To Get Down - the penultimate episode this season. It's "that" episode where serious business is at hand, and Ari races the clock to sell a film with Vince attached.
Of course, in Entourage land, that's a bit hard now, isn't it? Don't worry, I won't spoil the big surprise, but I was shocked and somewhat revolted when I was informed of what that surprise actually consisted of. Like I've said before, Entourage is about to change, ladies and gentleman...
You can read Phil's comments about filming his episode here.

He's Just Not That Into You
A pretty sloppily cut trailer (selling the film not based on the comedy, but the star power attached) for He's Just Not That Into You has come online. Guess who else is lucky enough to star in the film? Kevin Connolly! See that? Six degrees of separation. I blew your mind.
The trailer itself is, as I said, merely okay. You see Kevin Connolly about three times in all, and he doesn't speak as crap music blares over him. Yes, I'm a hardened fan, bitches. You blare over one of us, you blare over all of us! Viva la revolution... or not.
You can watch the trailer here.
The film is centered around some shit I really don't care about, but because I think we may be seeing a fair share of Connolly in the film, despite the editor's hate of him, it is about ever-widening gap between couples. Yes, I really made you wait for that.

Bow Wow And Entourage - Part II
As much as I had hoped that we'd see a fresh face for the character of Charlie, the up and coming comedian that will be repped by Eric, we won't. Shad Moss, otherwise known as Bow Wow, will play the character. While I've disliked everything that Bow Wow has done thus far in his acting career, I trust Doug Ellin to steer him in the right direction.
He didn't have much to say outside of wanting to be the "next Will Smith". We first reported that Bow Wow would play Charlie in a role that would span the entire season, depending on the character's popularity.

Paul Haggis Pimps Him Some Entourage
Paul Haggis, renowned Screenwriter and known perfectionist, spoke with Creative Screenwriting about starring in our favorite show: Entourage. "It was right after I became known. They had called me up and said, 'look, we'd like to use your name in the show, is that okay?' and I said, "sure, but you don't need to call me up. It really doesn't matter."
Horrifically enough for Haggis, the man who prefers to be behind the scenes, said that he didn't expect that they'd actually want him to star in the show. "They asked me to star in it! Which was crazy, because fuck, I'm not an actor. So, yeah, it was an amazing experience. It's always good to be in a show that had James Cameron the season previous."
I don't know about anyone else, but I loved Haggis' cameo role in the series. Come back, Paul!

The Moment You've All Been Waiting For
The lord works in mysterious ways, doesn't he? The DVD for the fourth season of Entourage finally has a release date. Guess what? It's perfect. August 26th, 2008. I love this release date for two reasons. One, the timing couldn't be more perfect (not to over use the word completely). Two, I've been assured by a few of my sources that a sneak preview of the fifth season will be included.
As for what else will be on the DVD? I don't know, but they really need to "spiff" the release up with a few more special features than usual.
You can pre-order the DVD here.
EDIT: According to the site, the product was so wildly popular that they've run out of stock. Hilarious. Unfortunately, all Amazon has up is a measly link and a poor man's comment. I'll make sure to update everyone on when the product will become available again.

You Have Been Reminded
HBO has started airing a "reminder" about the fifth season of Entourage. Filming is well underway and everyone is working overtime to complete each episode. As I'm told by a source, Bow Wow may be a series regular -- as Charlie, the comedian Eric represents. I'm still working to confirm, but since it's hectic with the crew moving locations regularly, I've found it much harder to receive information.
Another source, hidden within the streets of Los Angelos, has told me that Bow Wow was only on set for a cameo and nothing more. A funny cameo, nonetheless. Time will tell, won't it?
